Resolve Trainer app for iPhone and iPad

Becoming a successful square dance caller requires developing many skills and abilities, including stage presence, showmanship, rhythm, timing, diction, and creativity. This app will help with none of those. However it may help with one important skill: becoming familiar with how some common calls move dancers around as you attempt to resolve a square.

This app focuses on "ocean wave" resolving, where you maneuver the dancers into parallel ocean waves with same sex in the center, and position your primary and secondary couples for a Right and Left Grand or Allemande Left. It has support for a few calls from the Eight Chain position, to help you learn to recognize when you can use Recycle to resolve. The app will give you hints when you are 1 or 2 calls away from a resolve.
